Brembo B-QUIET lubricant: how to apply it?

Brembo B-QUIET lubricant: how to apply it?
Am I right to apply it on the pad friction material?

It is important to read the instructions for use before applying Brembo B-QUIET brake lubricant.
Incorrect product use may compromise the correct operation of the other braking system components.

Brembo B-QUIET was developed to lubricate the parts in contact between caliper and brake pad. For this reason, it contributes to the good operation of the braking system by preventing noise and ensuring better component protection from corrosion.

It is essential to follow the instructions for correct product use to make the most of the properties of Brembo B-QUIET:
  • Clean the points of contact between caliper and brake pad before applying the product.
  • Apply the product at the points of contact between the caliper and the brake pad as shown in the image.
  • Distribute the lubricant evenly over the surface. Brembo B-QUIET can be removed using a cloth and/or detergent for disc brakes.

Where should it not be used?

Remember never to apply the lubricant on the braking surfaces of the discs or pads. So, to answer your question, no, absolutely not!
The properties of Brembo B-QUIET may alter if mixed with other lubricants.
Finally, it is not compatible with EPDM plastics, which could swell.
