Brembo’s Premium range on show at the Moscow MIMS

The Russian trade fair dedicated to Aftermarket products and auto shop equipment has returned.

Brembo’s huge booth spanning more than 75 square metres was part of the Moscow Expocentre, which hosted the 2021 edition of the “MIMS – Automechanika Moscow” from 23rd to 26th August. The biggest Russian event dedicated to Aftermarket products and auto shop equipment was back on-site following its digital edition in 2020.

Russia boasts 150 million inhabitants and it is the second biggest European market for cars in circulation after Germany, with over 50 million vehicles on the road including cars, trucks and light commercial vehicles, making this country a fantastic Aftermarket market. More than 20% of the nation’s entire Aftermarket market is located in the metropolitan area of Moscow alone, the capital constituting a huge access port not just to the immense local market, but also to Kazakhstan, the Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic Republics.

Indeed, it is in this specific setting that the Brembo booth played a vital, starring role. It emphasised the Group’s premium image in the Aftermarket segment, thanks to the transfer to the spare parts market of the expertise accrued on original equipment products gained for the biggest global players on the automotive scene; it conveyed key messages to underscore how Brembo is a top brand, leader in braking systems, and a great brand with an extensive multi-product offering for all types of vehicle.

The booth exhibited the main Aftermarket brake rotors (from the Xtra range to the Co-Cast and also the PVT Plus), together with Brembo’s range of brake pads, B-Quiet lubricants, Premium brake fluid, hydraulic components and the caliper repair kit. Also much admired by visitors was a complete F1 braking system as well as a CCM system.
The last on-site edition of the MIMS, in 2019, recorded approximately 29 thousand visitors with more than 1,400 exhibitors from 36 different countries, spanning an exhibition space of 50 thousand square metres, displaying products and services from various commodities sectors: from Parts & Components, Electronics & Systems, Repair & Maintenance, Accessories & Tuning, to Service station & Car wash and IT & Management.
