Brembo brakes the 800 horsepower produced by the Aston Martin Vulcan.

In forty years of experience in the racing competition, Brembo gained an extraordinary know how in carbon braking material and even in the application of carbon ceramic for street use.
Brembo has been therefore selected as supplier for the Aston Martin Vulcan, the British supercar exclusively dedicated to the track-use.

All the 24 units are equipped with Brembo braking systems that features the Brembo CCM-R brake discs 380 mm x 34 mm on the front axle and 360 mm x 32 mm on the rear one, and Brembo competition calipers in anodized aluminum with six pistons on the front axle and four pistons on the rear one.
Brembo CCM-R discs are developed to ensure GT cars the best performance during competitions, when high energy dissipation goes along with stability of braking power.

Brembo CCM-R brake discs last about five times more than cast iron discs, and weight 5 kg less per wheel. The temperature of system operation are lower and the friction is higher with equivalent pad compound.
