Recycling the brake caliper body offers an alternative to replacing it with a new one. Designed to provide the same performances of new brake calipers, the Brembo remanufactured calipersembody an alternative solution to replacing broken or worn parts with new ones.
The remanufacturing process comprises:
- testing and cleaning of the caliper;
- complete replacement of parts subject to wear with new components;
- surface coating with a particular corrosion-proof layer.
After a final quality check, the remanufactured brake caliper is given an identifying mark to identify it as a remanufactured product and thus avoid any later remanufacturing processes. The brake calipers are supplied ready for installation.
The product line consists of over 4,000 codes compatible with over 2,000 car models of 55 manufacturers, covering 95% of the vehicle fleet.
